The NSTP Diliman Office hosts webinars on various topics such as community engagement and NSTP remote learning/teaching.

SANAY AGAP IGLAP

The Sanay Agap Iglap is a 3-day training program aimed at enhancing community readiness and resilience during disasters. It involves physical activities, presentations, role plays, and practical exercises. Participants include NSRC reservists, NSTP students, UP Diliman staff, and members of the UP Campus community. Day 1 focused on alertness, map reading, hazard awareness, and ocular inspections. Day 2 included a tango rescue exercise, disaster preparedness discussions, and basic first-aid training. Day 3 involved a simultaneous drill in Barangay UP Campus, Quezon City, followed by an assessment. Overall, the program aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively to disasters. This project was organized by the NSTP Diliman Office, National Service Reserve Corps UPD, UP Resilience Institute, UP Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs, UP Diliman Public Safety and Security Office, and Barangay U.P. Campus-Quezon City.

For the final leg of our Sanay training series this year, we are pleased to invite you to 𝐋𝐈𝐆-𝐎𝐍: 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠. In this training, you will learn the concepts and processes of properly responding to emergency events; identify and anticipate emergency situations, understand organizational responsibilities, and properly execute which actions to take given any situation. SANGGUNIAN: Consult the Implementers Online Forum Series

The SANGGUNIAN Forum on NCSTP is a collaborative project that aims to provide NSTP implementers and educators across the country with adequate information regarding the proposed House Bill No. 6687 (National Citizens Service Training Program (NCSTP) Act) and the Senate Bill No. 2034 (Mandatory Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC)).

BALANGKAS: NSTP Project Management Webinar Series

The National Service Training Program (NSTP) Diliman Office will be launching BALANGKAS: NSTP Project Management Webinar Series, that aims to be a platform to enumerate and discuss the step-by-step process in conceptualizing, planning, and executing NSTP Projects for community engagement projects.

BAYANIHAN: Common Module Topics Webinar Series

BAYANIHAN: Common Module Webinar Series is a three-part webinar series that tackles relevant issues and ideas related to Katatagan: National Security, Kahandaan: Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (in collaboration with UP Resilience Institute), and Kalikasan: Environmental Protection. The aim of the webinar series is to provide supplemental knowledge of the Common Module topics to NSTP implementers of University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman, the other constituent units of UP, various State Universities and Colleges, and Higher Educational Institutions in the Philippines.

UNLAD 2022: Kawayan: Tatag at Tibay Pampamayanan

The National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) is launching UNLAD 2022 “Kawayan: Tatag at Tibay Pampamayanan”, a webinar series on Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, to carry on with this initiative. Building on the principles laid out in our UNLAD 2020-2021 Community Engagement Webinar Series, this year’s series seeks to:

Discuss the concepts and processes of people-centered development in the creation of CBDRRM programs, projects, and activities with partner communities;
Apply the learnings on people-centered development in co-designing a project with community members; and
Connect participants to the growing network of community-based DRRM practitioners.
